You might think about couple psychotherapy when your relationship feels stuck, not as good as it could be, or even in crisis. Sometimes this happens because of specific challenges, such as the impact of an affair, the pressures of parenting, worry around money, or changes in desire and intimacy. It can be hard to understand what’s happening. It can feel very overwhelming.

I have extensive training as a couple psychotherapist at Tavistock Relationships. I have helped couples with issues such as infidelity, parenting, better communication, intimacy, identity including gender and sexuality, depression, anger. I’m happy to listen to whatever you bring and we can think together about the approach that might be best for you.

I also have training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and I have led mindfulness courses and outdoor retreats for families and couples. I’m also a former Diplomat.

In our sessions, we create a space where each of you can be heard. We can think together about what is happening in the dynamic between you, and how you can both move forward. Couple therapy can also help with partners who wish to separate well.

I offer 50-minute sessions, in person or online, on a weekly basis. This can be short-term or open-ended, it’s up to you. Contact me for an initial Zoom call.
