You might come for individual psychotherapy when you feel stuck in ways you can’t quite explain. Perhaps you are repeating a kind of relationship pattern, or feeling confused about your own needs.
Often, when things feel difficult with the people around us, it’s because the way we relate to ourselves needs attention. That’s why individual therapy can be very helpful, no matter what your personal circumstances are.
I am qualified as an individual psychodynamic psychotherapist. I have helped individuals with issues such as loneliness, difficulty staying in relationships, anxiety, depression, career and money worries. I am happy to listen to whatever you bring, and we can think together about which approach might work best.
I also have training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and I have led mindfulness courses and outdoor retreats. I believe that a holistic approach can work well. You’ll have a calm, supportive space to slow down and notice what’s happening beneath the surface.
I offer 50-minute sessions, in person or online, on a weekly basis. This can be short-term or open-ended, it’s up to you. Contact me for an initial Zoom call.
